I have been painting all my life and showing professionally for the last seven years.

My biggest supporter has been my life partner and husband, Raju and of course my children. My parents instigated the interest in art from a young age and it has become an obsession in my adult life.

My inspiration comes from a varied number of movements but especially from the pop art style. Influences of pop art can be seen all through my works. It is the refreshing enigma that makes mundane, daily objects and shapes into thought provoking debates that has me completely enamored.

The second place award has been such an accomplishment for me! I can instantly see the the difference in reception when I mention this and the mural on the walls of City Centre. It is a tremendous addition to my repertoire.

My mediums range from acrylic, latex and oil in paintings to charcoal and graphite in drawings. I enjoy the difference in color and viscosity in the various paints. Each paint medium has different properties and it is a pleasure to explore them on my canvas. 

My current series is called 'The Comic Book' series, another glaring influence from the pop art style.

Look at life through a Kaleidoscope! I promise you it makes it more fun and enticing! You will never have a dull moment and will enjoy every bit of it! My works are a Kaleidoscope of colors and my emotions. They are always meant to create dialogue, make the audience smile and create a sense of aha!
