"Flow"

"I got the idea from a song "Flow" by DubFX...and the lyric "Joined At The Soul With A Pair Of Head Phones."   The mural depicts two robots connecting head phone jacks into a heart."

About Mikie

This talented artist broke his femur the week of being accepted for The Mural Project at City Centre in Houston, but he still accepted the challenge.  His family built a frame large enough to hold up the mural (12 feet by 15 feet ) in order that he could roll underneath the canvas to paint it. Wearing a GoPro, Mikie filmed his progress...some of it painting upside down...yep....upside down!

Mikie is 26 years old and has been living in Houston for 15 years. When not working as an autocad designer for an engineeirng firm, Mikie expresses his imagination with art.  He started sketching graffiti when he was 16 and is known in the urban art scene as "DOWN."
