Verny Sanchez is a Houston-based artist from Maracaibo (Venezuela). He studied Graphic Design at the Instituto de Diseño de Caracas in Venezuela. Verny has participated in exhibitions in Caracas, Barcelona (Spain) and Miami (Florida,US) over the last 19 years. Previously, he lived in Spain for 11 years where he was a resident artist at La Escocesa for 5 years (Barcelona).

 

Verny's artistry is a lecture into his abstract concepts where he reproduces his geometric anthropromorphism graphically. Verny delves into different mediums, such as painting, sculpture, installations, and murals. He has created his own Glyphs or "Glifos" (personal language), which feature heavily in his artistic style.
